Forhead Chakra

Forhead Chakra

LOCATION

The forehead chakra is located at the center of the forehead. (Master Choa Kok Sui, Advanced Pranic Healing)

Forehead chakra also none as the Third Eye

DESCRIPTION

The forehead chakra has one hundred forty four petals with twelve divisions. Each division has twelve petals and contains light violet, blue, red, orange, yellow, and green pranas.

SPIRITUAL FUNCTIONS

The forehead chakra is the center of lower buddhic or cosmic consciousness. It is the center of wisdom or lower intuition. The activation of the forehead gives one access to the spiritual world. (Master Choa Kok Sui, Pranic Psychotherapy)

Forhead Chakra on Body What is the difference between the higher intuition of the crown chakra and the lower intuition of the forehead chakra? Both of them correspond to the faculty of direct inner perception or intuition. In the case of the crown chakra, it is direct inner perception without form. It is pure knowing. Direct knowing without inner visions or sounds is higher intuition. On the other hand, the forehead chakra is direct inner perception with form.

Direct knowing with clairvoyancy is lower intuition. Forehead chakra is the center of higher clairvoyancy. It gives a person the ability to see truth using the third eye or the spiritual eye. The real third eye is on the forehead chakra, not on the ajna chakra. Lower clairvoyancy uses the lower chakras.

In esoteric Buddhism where the teachings are orally taught or telepathically transmitted, the forehead chakra is called the “lower Buddhichitta,” while the crown chakra is the “higher Buddhichitta,” or simply Buddhichitta. (Master Choa Kok Sui, The Spiritual Essence of Man)

PSYCHOLOGICAL FUNCTIONS

The ajna chakra corresponds to the intellect, while the forehead chakra corresponds to intuition.

The intelligentsia uses predominantly the intellect and sometimes they don’t even recognize the existence of the intuition. They consider it as not rational and not objective. Geniuses use intuition and are far superior to the intelligentsia and the masses. A genius uses intuition to know the truths and extracts secrets from Mother Nature; he uses intellect to validate or check what has been learned intuitively. A genius is one who uses both intuition and intellect in a coordinated, effective and objective manner. It is the purpose of the human race to eventually develop the intuition.

PHYSIOLOGICAL FUNCTIONS

The forehead chakra controls and energizes the pineal gland and the nervous system. (Master Choa Kok Sui, Advanced Pranic Healing) Energizing this chakra has a similar funneling effect like the crown chakra, causing the whole body to be flooded with prana. (Master Choa Kok Sui, Miracles Through Pranic Healing) (See Fig. 11-3 The forehead chakra controls and energizes the pineal gland and the nervous system)

The left eye and ear are influenced and energized more by the forehead chakra and crown chakra. (Master Choa Kok Sui, Advanced Pranic Healing )

SOME CONDITIONS AS A RESULT OF A MALFUNCTIONING FOREHEAD CHAKRA

Malfunctioning of the forehead chakra manifests as ailments of the nervous system. (Master Choa Kok Sui, Advanced Pranic Healing) For example, loss of memory, paralysis and epilepsy. (Master Choa Kok Sui, Miracles Through Pranic Healing) In epilepsy the solar plexus chakra is congested and overactivated. The forehead, ajna, and back head chakras are adversely affected. (Master Choa Kok Sui, Advanced Pranic Healing )

EQUIVALENT ACUPUNCTURE POINT

In Chinese medicine, it corresponds to the acupuncture point DU (GV) 24. (Master Choa Kok Sui, The Spiritual Essence of Man)

TAOIST AND INDIAN CORRESPONDENCE OF THE FOREHEAD CHAKRA

In Taoist yoga, the forehead chakra corresponds to shen ting, which means “hall of the divine.”

The forehead chakra in the Indian oral tradition is called the Lalaata chakra. In Tamil (Southern India), it is called Kumbidu kaala varmam.

A certain degree of physical and psychological preparations is needed to activate the crown chakra.

In Kabbalah it is called Chokmah. The divine name of Chokmah is Yehovah.
