Of the general nature of the unseen world I have written elsewhere. For the moment, let usconcentrate our attention on one of its most striking characteristics - the ready response of thefiner types of matter (of which it is constructed) to the influences of human thought and emotion.It is difficult for those who have not studied the subject to grasp the absolute reality of these forces - to understand that they are in every respect as definite in their action upon the finer type of matter as is the power of steam or electricity over physical matter. Every one knows that a man who has at his disposal a large amount of steam power or electrical power can do useful work and produce definite results; but few people know that every man has at his disposal acertain amount of this other and higher power, and that with that he can produce results just as definite and just as real.
